Dress Code

Oak Hill Camp is intentionally different from other camps not planned as a Christian experience. Even with constantly changing fashions, we believe everyone can dress both fashionably and with modesty.

Campers’ dress should not interfere with the orderly operation of camp and camp activities.

Decisions regarding the appropriateness of clothing, footwear, and accessories will be made by the dean or the camp manager.

The following are general guidelines for dress for both campers and staff:

  • Messages on clothing, jewelry, or other personal items that relate to drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sex, and vulgarity are NOT permitted.
  • Dress or clothing that interferes with orderly conduct or which attracts excessive attention will not be permitted.

  • No spaghetti strap tops or dresses
  • No 2-piece bathing suits
  • No short-shorts or mini-skirts
  • No halter tops or bare-midriff attire
  • No underclothing exposed

  • No running around without a shirt on
  • No underclothing exposed
  • No saggy pants
  • No Speedos
