Speech Splatz - Junior I Week - June 24-29

Building citizens who do God's work!

What kind of citizen are you? Are you a good citizen or a bad citizen? And a citizen where?

This year during Junior I Week (June 22-27), we're going to be citizens of VeggieTown, and we’ll learn how that citizenship will help us with our citizenship in our community, state, country and ultimately our citizenship in heaven.

What’s VeggieTown you may ask? It’s a community of people just like the one you live in! It’s a place where kids can discover how to become citizens who do God’s work! It’s a town that realizes every citizen has an important job. Kids and adults alike are on the ‘job’ everyday at home, at work, at school and at play!

Our VeggieTown theme verse is I Corinthians 10:31:

" So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. ”

We’re going to talk about real values that we need in order to become a better citizen in our community, while we’re doing it ALL for the glory of God!
