Glenn Foster, our camp manager, was
born in 1949 in Sayre, Pennsylvania. He was raised in Cowley
Pennsylvania and graduated from Troy Senior High School in
1967.
After attending Eastern Christian College, (now Lincoln Christian
College - East Coast) from 1968 - 1973, Glenn served as youth
minister at the Granville Center and Grover Churches of Christ
and as minister to the Sylvania Church of Christ in northern
Pennsylvania from 1973-74.
In 1974, Glenn moved to the Richmond area and served as youth
minister to the Mechanicsville Church of Christ in Mechanicsville
Virginia from 1974-78. He then taught Bible at Piedmont Christian
School at the Bethany Christian Church in Bumpass, Virginia,
from 1978 - 1982. Glenn took the position of minister at the
Bethel Christian Church in Brokenburg, Virginia, from 1979
to 1982.
Glenn began his ministry as Camp Manager of Oak Hill Christian
Service Camp in 1982 and fulfills many roles such as administrator,
registrar, plumber, electrician, carpenter, and groundskeeper.
Glenn's personality and Christian manner allow him to continue
building relationships that benefit the Camp.
Glenn has been married to Deborah Piper of Benton, Pennsylvania
since 1981, and they have one son, Grant,
and a daughter-in-law, Megan. |
